(season 2 episode 1) In My Time of Dying

The episode picks up where last season’s cliffhanger episode left off. Dean is in the hospital in a coma following being rammed into by the semi truck and doctors do not give him much chance of surviving. Yet he is able to walk the halls as a disembodied spirit. There he meets Tessa, a young woman apparently in a similar predicament, and sees a strange apparition that seems to draw the life from the sickest patients. Unable to save Dean any other way, John Winchester attempts a very dangerous plan to save his son’s life.

(season 2 episode 2) Everybody Loves A Clown

Sam and Dean receive a message on their father’s cell phone from a woman named Ellen and head out to find her. They find that Ellen is the owner of a road house that is often used as a meeting place for hunters much like themselves. Meanwhile, a circus clown is targeting young children who will let him into their home so he can brutally murder the child’s parents.

(season 2 episode 3) Bloodlust

The Impala returns to commission after the accident in last season’s final episode. Sam and Dean team with Gordon, a man whose motivation to destroy supernatural beings may be stronger even than theirs. Together they hunt a nest of vampires. Then Sam learns something about the vampires that might change everything and Ellen gives the Winchesters some advice about Gordon.

(season 2 episode 4) Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things

Sam and Dean travel to a college town to visit Neil Levine, a heart-broken college student who is grieving the loss of his long-time crush who died in a car accident just after he consoled her over a recent breakup. Neil, determined to get his crush back one way or another, uses necromancy to bring her back to live. The girl returns, but she comes back as an angry spirit hell-bent on seeking revenge on her cheating ex-boyfriend and the girl that he cheated with. Sam and Dean have to step in and stop the spirit before her anger turns deadly.

(season 2 episode 5) Simon Said

The brothers encounter Andy Gillette, a hippie about Sam’s age who has the ability to control others’ minds. Andy is able to get people to “lend” him their cars, but when he starts to use his power for larger things, he begins to attract attention. Now, Sam and Dean must stop him before he takes his power to an extreme.

(season 2 episode 6) No Exit

After blond women are brutally murdered in their apartment building, Sam and Dean soon discover that the ghost of H. H. Holmes, the first serial killer, is behind the murders. Elsewhere, Jo openly defies her mother’s wishes and chases after the Winchester brothers as they pursue H. H. Holmes. However, Jo’s plan goes wrong when she ends up buried alive by the ghost.

(season 2 episode 7) The Usual Suspects

Sam and Dean travel to the scene of the murder of a lawyer and his wife who claimed to had seen a ghost prior to their deaths. But Sam and Dean don’t get far when local authorities come across the brothers’ record and arrest them for a double homicide. However, when the ghost begins to visit detective Ballard, the woman that arrested the brothers, she begins to think that Sam and Dean’s story might just be true and she might be next.

(season 2 episode Crossroad Blues

Two highly successful individuals die after claiming to be haunted by hell-hounds and after investigating the scene, Sam and Dean discover that a local bar was built on top of a site where a demon has been making people’s dreams come true in exchange for their souls. Dean is able to summon the demon, but is shocked when it reveals the truth surrounding his father’s death, leading the demon to tempt Dean into getting the one thing he wants the most — his father.

(season 2 episode 9) Croatoan

Sam has a horrifying vision of Dean killing a young, demon-possessed man. The vision sends the brothers to Oregon to find answers to Sam’s premonition. In Oregon they come across a virus-stricken town where the virus that has infected the town is driving a person to kill. Sam becomes infected by the virus and begins to prepare for his deadly fate, but when the virus doesn’t take him as it did the others, Dean decides to tell Sam the truth about what John told him before he died.

(season 2 episode 10) Hunted

When Dean tells Sam about what John told him before he died, Sam heads off to Indiana without Dean knowing. There Sam meets Eva, a psychic who was looking for Sam in order to warn him about his fate. Meanwhile, Dean learns that Gordon is after Sam and races to find his brother before it’s too late.
